No matter where you hunt, you cannot avoid finding trash. Don't waste your time trying to decide if an item is worthless or not. Dig up everything and take it home to sort out later. What you thought was junk could actually be valuable treasure. The key to scoring while metal detecting is not based on how fancy your detector is; it depends on you and how fast you can recover your targets.
